Top internationally recognised TEFL qualifications

All our top Level 5 TEFL qualifications are Ofqual regulated. This means our courses undergo strict external monitoring and control, ensuring you can be safe in the knowledge that your training is the best it can be. The Ofqual seal of approval gives employers the confidence that you’ve got a top qualification, practically guaranteeing you a job.

Who is Ofqual?

The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) is the governmental department in England responsible for maintaining and regulating educational standards, exams and certifications. Ofqual recognise Awarding Organisations like Gatehouse Awards and regulate qualifications like ours. There’s a number of different accrediting bodies out there but the main name to look out for is Ofqual – they regulate the qualification and ensure that it meets the highest standard. We recommend that you make sure that any TEFL course you’re about to start has been independently checked and leads to a regulated qualification. An Ofqual regulated TEFL qualification will be recognised worldwide and is highly respected by employers, pushing your resume to the top of the pile and getting you your dream TEFL job! You can check our TEFL qualification on the Ofqual website here.
